The SD+ can only be applied in physical redundancy using a ring architecture and a manageable switch. Due to the interconnection of Ethernet ports, it is not possible to apply redundancy to the SD+ through the PRP protocol since it cannot be connected to two separate networks without linking them (PRP requires both networks to be independent).
