About the SD+

Modified on Thu, 29 Feb at 3:01 PM

The Smart Device Gateway — SD+ is a device designed to seamlessly integrate IEDs with different communication protocols efficiently and securely. It facilitates the transmission of data to supervision, data acquisition, and/or online monitoring systems. The device is available in two display versions, VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) or LED, both ensuring high brightness and readability in challenging lighting and temperature conditions.

Supported Protocols:

  • Modbus;
  • DNP3;
  • IEC 61850 (Only for server mode).

It employs an advanced software architecture known as an abstract data model, allowing registered data to be stored in an abstract variable unlinked to any communication protocol. This enables the simulation of values and the creation of a virtual IED, all done through its simple and intuitive web page.
