BM-MM replacement

We must keep in mind that, while the bushing is energized, under no circumstances should the bushing tap remain open.  For this reason, we recommend that the installation between the tap adapter and the BM-MM has short-circuitable terminals in between, which will make it much easier in case it is necessary to remove or replace the BM measurement module. 

Only after short-circuiting the cables that receive the leakage current from all bushings, proceed with powering the BM-MM and installing the communication cables with the BM-HMI, as shown in the following illustration. 

Fix the cables that will receive the leakage current on the BM-MM and adjust the address using the button on the equipment upper front .

Finally, remove the short-circuit buses from the terminals so that the measurement module can receive the leakage current.
