TMV/SDV/SDT
The TMV/SDV/SDT is a device that combines thermal control and protection with the main functionalities of a voltage regulator relay. Based on readings from the insulating oil temperature and one or more transformer load currents, the TMV/SDV/SDT calculates (thermal image) the temperature of one or more windings and manages the thermal behavior of the equipment (functions 26 and 49). Additionally, during operation, the TMV/SDV/SDT aims to preserve voltage quality at the load by keeping it within a user-configurable range. To achieve this, in addition to performing relay function 90, the TMV/SDV/SDT offers a range of applications designed to meet the most demanding regulations in the electric power sector. Finally, Treetech’s SDV/SDT has been specifically designed to seamlessly and fully integrate with any product that supports Modbus® (standard), DNP3, and IEC 61850 (optional) communication protocols.
