The Membrane/Bag Rupture Relay — MBR is a device whose operation is based on the principle of light reflection. With online monitoring, it detects ruptures in membranes or bellows used in oil preservation systems in transformers and power reactors. It consists basically of two components: Control unit; Optical sensor.
