The Gas and moisture monitor — GMP is a device built to monitor the hydrogen gas presence and water dissolved in the insulating oil of power transformers and reactors, indicating its conservation state. Monitoring these components allows detecting and pointing out possible failures in an incipient phase, thus avoiding the occurrence of major damages in high or extra-high voltage equipments.
